If you’re a lover of live music, then you live in the right place. Loudoun County if full of places to catch the notes, indoors and outdoors. Here are just some of the places you will find a free concert:
Lansdowne Town Center Village Green
Lansdowne Town Center has hosted both live music and movie nights in the past. Loudoun Mom Discounts Deals will update this page if/when they return post-pandemic.
Acoustics on the Green in Leesburg
Acoustic on the Green will be held this year on the Town Green at 25 W. Market in downtown.
Most Saturdays, June 5th – August 28th, 2021, 7pm. Bring your Lawn chairs and blankets. Pack a picnic or pick up something from one of downtown Leesburg’s restaurants.
No smoking or alcohol will be permitted and no pets, please. in case of inclement weather, the show will be cancelled.
Dulles Town Center Concerts on the Plaza
In the past, there have been concerts and other events outside on the Plaza at the Dulles Town Center mall (near PF Chang’s and The Cheesecake Factory). Loudoun Mom Discounts Deals will update this page if/when they return post-pandemic.
Dulles Town Center has also hosted kid-friendly Playdate Thursdays with a free concert in the past. We will be watching for their possible return as well.
Leesburg First Friday
Leesburg First Friday, downtown Leesburg, each first Friday of the month 6-9pm. There are many opportunities to listen to tunes of all kids throughout the town. Check the website or Facebook for venues or just wander around. You’re sure to find something that you enjoy. The monthly event has been on hiatus since February 2020, but will be back on July 2nd, 2021!
Every Monday from 11am-noon, Rocknoceros will rock the plaza as part of the Kids Summer Concert Series at One Loudoun. Runs June 7-August 30, 2021.
Cabana Nights on Saturdays, June 12 / July 10 / Aug 14, 2021 on the plaza allow for some adult entertainment this summer. Reserve a cabana ($) or just bring your own blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the live music. For line up visit the website.

Brambleton Summer Concert Series
This free event is held in Legacy Park. Bring your blankets and chairs. Bring a picnic or grab dinner from one of the food trucks. Bring a photo ID to enjoy adult beverages.
Gates open at 6. Kid-friendly opening acts from 6:30-7:15pm. Headliners from 7:30-9:30pm.

The Village at Leesburg hosts a plaza party throughout late spring and into the summer on Friday and Saturday nights; May 1- September 25, 2021. These family friendly events invite you to purchase a drink from one of the neighboring restaurants and bring it out to the plaza to sip on while you enjoy the music. There are outdoor games, a bubble show, splashed and kids play area, plus lots of outdoor dining options along the plaza. You may want to bring your own chair and blanket as seating may sometimes fill up fast.
Hillsboro Music in the Gap
Join the Town of Hillsboro this summer for great music on most Fridays from July 2 – August 27, 2021 Lawn seating is FREE and based on first come, first served; bring blanket or lawn chairs. Premium verandah tickets for sale. Grounds open at 6:00pm. Concert begins at 7:00pm. Food and alcohol for purchase; no outside alcohol allowed. For more concert info visit the website.
Loudoun wineries often have free, live music.
Looking for FREE tunes for listening at home or while on a summer road trip. Yup, you can get that, too. Freegal is offered through Loudoun County Public Library and gives you three FREE download each week that are yours to keep. There is a pretty decent selection, too. The library also has free, live music for all ages. Check their event listings to see who, what, when and where.
