Leesburg Holiday Tree Ceremony, Friday, December 3, 2021

The Town of Leesburg holiday tree lighting ceremony will be held on First Friday again this year at the Town Hall (25 W Market St.) and all are invited to attend.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a holiday message from Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk, followed by the lighting of the tree and Town Green. The band Lost Locals will perform popular holiday songs. Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Reindeer will also visit the event.

During the event, W. Market Street will be closed from Wirt to King streets. Traffic exiting the Town Hall parking garage will be allowed to go east on W. Market Street or exit on Loudoun Street.

Academies of Loudoun 2021 Holiday Plant Sale

The annual holiday plant sale to support Loudoun students in plant science and biotechnology will be held at a new location this fall. Previously held at Monroe Technology Center, the sale is now at the new Academies of Loudoun school.

As in past sales, shoppers can expect to find part of the school transformed into a make-shift garden center, packed with poinsettias, cyclamen, Christmas cactus, arrangements, and so much more.

Leesburg 31st Annual Holiday Fine Arts & Crafts Show, December 4-5, 2021

The Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present the 31st Annual Holiday Fine Arts & Crafts show at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center on December 4 and 5, 2021. Show hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Fine arts and crafts exhibitors will be selling their handcrafted items in the basketball courts, hallway, group fitness room and lower level. Local and regional artisans will be selling hand-made items including candles, glass items, carved wood, jewelry, seasonal décor, table linens, and more.
